Insta Outfit | Milan Duomo

Last week I was lucky enough to take a little reprieve from university deadlines to jet off to Milan. I've wanted to visit Milan for what seems like years now, and the city did not disappoint. Perhaps the most beautiful place I have visited to date, I am now desperate to spend some more time there after graduating! I will be putting up a Milan travel diary on Style Rehearsal over the next few days, but for now I will leave you with a quick preview of an upcoming outfit post, shot at the top of Milan Duomo. You can also head over to my Instagram to see what else I got up to over the weekend!

Travel | Dublin

This weekend I went to Dublin to celebrate my friends birthday. Having visited a few years ago, I was especially excited to visit again and explore the city a little more. Stopping in the most beautiful  hotel (Trinity City Hotel), we were baed right in the centre of Dublin and just a five minute walk from Temple Bar - home to some of Dublin's most famous Irish bars and nightlife. Although, admittedly, the majority of the weekend was spent drinking Guinness in our favourite little pub the Auld Dubliner, we also payed a visit to Dublin Castle, Ha'penny Bridge and Brown Thomas on Grafton street; well worth a visit for those who are lovers of all things luxury!

Be Mine? The Valentines Edit

Valentines weekend is just around the corner, so whether you're looking for last minute gift ideas for a loved one or simply just fancy treating yourself, I've made choosing that special gift a little easier by rounding up some of my favourite valentines picks below. Opt for a timeless classic with a Burberry cashmere scarf, or for something a little more fun head to Selfridges to pick up Comme des Garcon's PLAY fragrance - a current favourite of mine! What's on your wishlist?

 Be mine?

Bra: Stella McCartney | Scarf: Burberry | Earrings: Valentino | Watch: Larsson & Jennings | Heels: Charlotte Olympia | Fragrance: CDG

Cafe Culture | BTP Lovin'

After a long day of retail therapy with my friend the other day, I couldn't believe my eyes when we stumbled across a Boston Tea Party in Birmingham. One of my favourite coffee chains ever, after discovering their amazing chorizo hash during a day out in Bath, I am over the moon I can now get my fix a little closer to home! With the cutest ambiance and best hot chocolates, I urge anyone with a love for eggs and vanilla lattes to visit a BTP asap...

New In | Kate Spade

I've always loved Kate Spade's playful prints, so when I went to her outlet store in Williamsburg back in summer, I could have bought everything. Despite spending some time in the store deciding whether I really needed a Mini-Hayden bag, in the end I opted for this cute leopard print phone case instead. I love the print, and the two-part protective case has left my iPhone feeling safer than ever... phew.

Dear Santa...

With Christmas just around the corner, I thought I would compile a little wishlist of all the things I would love to see under my tree this year. Perhaps, granted, a little optimistic to wish for all the items below, hopefully my top picks will give those struggling for last minute gift ideas some food for thought. I know Valentino's coffee table book is at the top of my wishlist... sorry Santa!

Accessories Wishlist
Belt: Moschino | Ring: Chloe | Lipstick: Tom Ford | Book: Valentino | Key Ring: Diane Von Furstenberg | Gloves: Canada Goose | Perfume: Chanel | Candle: Mary Katrantzou

New in | MAC Essentials

Ever since discovering the secret to Kylie Jenner's obscenely oversized lips was down to a matte lip colour and some serious over-lining, I have been obsessed with buying lipliners. Despite my makeup bag already overflowing, when I heard MAC were offering 10% off during Black Friday weekend I decided it was the perfect excuse to stock up on some essentials and give my lipstick collection an update. After refraining from spending my entire student loan on more cosmetics, in the end I opted for a soft pink shade for everyday ('soar') and 90's inspired dark brown for nights out ('spice'). I love the matte finish the lipsticks give, and the longevity of the colours far surpass anything I have used before. MAC, you have me hooked.

Monthly Muse | Jourdan Dunn

I've always been a huge fan of Jourdan Dunn, so it came as no surprise to hear she was crowned model of the year at the BFA's last week. Having walked for the likes of Burberry, Victoria's Secret and Balmain; whether sporting an oversized baseball shirt or a sequin dress the supermodel is always perfectly attired. When stuck for outfits myself, I love nothing more than scrolling through Jourdan's Instagram page for inspiration, using her 'street meets chic' signature style to help me inject some life into my everyday ensembles.

November Wishlist

After a little visit to Selfridges and Harvey Nichols in Birmingham yesterday, my wishlist is becoming more extensive than ever as the stores begin to display their incredibly alluring christmas arrays. Gravitating towards all things students can't afford as per usual, below is a brief round up of the items I have particularly fallen in love with - namely the velvet Gucci heels and Charlotte Simone's super cute pom-pom cap!

November Wishlist
Jumper: Michael Kors | Bralet: Stella McCartney | Hat: Charlotte Simone | Eye Shadow: Chanel | Candle: Harvey Nichols | Lipstick: Nars | Heels: Gucci | Key Ring: Helen Moore

New In | Olivia Burton Watch

I've been on the lookout for the perfect gold watch for ages now, so when I came across this Olivia Burton timepiece whilst shopping on Oxford Street recently, I decided to treat myself to an early christmas gift. Already owning more watches than I can count, I am obsessed with oversized dials with minimalistic features. Opting for the yellow gold as opposed to the rose gold, the piece adds a sophisticated feel to my usual all black ensemble, as well as making a refreshing change to my ever growing Marc Jacobs collection...

Balmain x H&M | What I Bought

Like many other fashion enthusiasts, my Thursday morning last week consisted of sitting in front of my computer frantically pressing the refresh button on the H&M website. After seeing the words 'please try again later' around 100 times, I finally reached the Balmain landing page. Frantically scrolling through any items that were still available, I swiftly placed a pair of silver earrings in my basket - one of the few items left to purchase. Despite feeling seemingly smug at the time, on delivery I discovered a pair of plastic, clip on earrings that even Primark would struggle to sell. At least the Balmain x H&M box is nice, right?
